GALILEO Redesign: Get Training on New Features Launching in July
On July 19, GALILEO will present the second major release of the ongoing redesign.
New features include:
- Improved layout and easier navigation
- New options for customizing your institution’s GALILEO portal page
- Access to citations and research management tools
- Beta release of the new GALILEO bento search

GALILEO Redesign: What’s New for Summer 2021? Academic Libraries
When: 2 p.m. - 3 p.m., July 21, 2021
In this 1-hour webinar, attendees will navigate the new features and functionality of the GALILEO portal. After this session, attendees will be able to:
- Identify improvements in the portal’s layout and navigation
- Use the new bento style GALILEO search (beta) to find and sort search results
- Understand new GALILEO administrative functionality
- Access training for GALILEO admin

After this session, attendees will be able to:
- Engage the beta bento search
- Switch between bento and the standard EBSCO Discovery search
- Navigate search results in the bento box environment
- Review “more results” pages and navigate to additional results in the standard EBSCO Discovery search
- Identify the source content within each bento box
- Learn about forthcoming updates to the bento search
- Provide feedback on the bento search
