Bio

Tess has worked at the Richmont Atlanta Library since November 2020 and was promoted to Research and Archives Librarian after earning her Master of Library and Information Science Degree and Graduate Certificate in Archival Studies from Louisiana State University in May 2022. She also earned a Master of Arts Degree in Literature from Georgia College & State University in 2016. Her duties include conducting research assistance services for students and faculty, completing interlibrary loans, maintaining Richmont’s university archives, teaching the fall section of Introduction to Graduate Writing Skills, and cataloging new materials for the Atlanta library. She lives in Marietta with her husband Chris, their dog Tilly, and their cats Marty, Stanley, and Benny. When she’s not working, she’s usually reading, cooking, napping, or listening to a true crime podcast.
