Donnie Summerlin is the Digital Projects Archivist at the University of Georgia Libraries, where he manages the ongoing effort to digitize and preserve Georgia’s historical newspapers. He earned a BA in history from UGA, an MA in history from Georgia College & State University, and an MLIS from Valdosta State University. His writing credits include articles published in the Georgia Historical Quarterly, Archival Outlook, and the Georgia Library Quarterly.
