Bio

Angela Stanley is assistant state librarian for innovation and collaboration for Georgia Public Library Service, where she supports shared resources for Georgia's 60 public library systems, including tools and services like access to electronic databases, ebooks, and primary source material. From 2016-2022 she served as director of archival services and digital initiatives. Prior to joining the state library team, she served as head of archives and special collections at the Athens Regional Library System, and senior librarian for the New York Public Library. She is past president of the Society of Georgia Archivists, is a Certified Archivist and digital archives specialist, and holds her Master of Library and Information Science and certificate in archives, preservation, and records management from Queens College, City University of New York.
