Bio

Christi Jones-Hobgood holds a doctor of arts in English pedagogy from Murray State University. She serves as the ELA department chair for Pickens High School where her teaching load ranges from English 1 to AP Literature and Composition. Additionally, she is an adjunct professor at Chattahoochee Technical College and teaches ENGL 1101 and ENGL 1102. She has brought the inaugural course offering of AP Seminar to PHS which serves as the impetus for introducing accessible research skills through GALILEO. She seeks to make the process of research via GALILEO less daunting for teachers and more accessible for students.
