Katie Poland is the National Digital Newspaper Program manager at UGA, digitizing historic Georgia newspapers for inclusion in the Library of Congress’ countrywide database, Chronicling America. She has previously worked on NDNP in Illinois and Wisconsin and will happily talk an ear off about newspapers and microfilm. She holds BAs in English and philosophy from Northwestern University and an MSLIS from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
