Update: Transition from NetLibrary to eBooks on EBSCOhost
Below you will find an update on the transition of NetLibrary to the EBSCOhost platform. There are a few issues to highlight:
- Direct links to NetLibrary e-books may not be redirecting properly to EBSCOhost. EBSCO is aware of this issue and is working diligently to restore the redirects. It is a critical issue. The direct links to the GALILEO-managed collections that use the GALILEO Express Links are redirecting correctly.
- Audiobooks and eBooks are not natively searched from the same interface. The link in GALILEO to eBooks and Audiobooks on EBSCOhost currently points to the eBooks only collection. A separate URL is used to access the Audiobooks on EBSCOhost database. If your library subscribes to Audiobooks through EBSCOhost (formerly NetLibrary,) please contact GALILEO using our Contact Us form so that we can discuss how to best provide access to this resource for your users.
- In light of issue 2 above, the name of the database in GALILEO will change to eBooks on EBSCOhost tomorrow.
