NoveList Tip: Find Authors in a Specific Genre

What if someone is looking for a list of authors in his or her favorite genre?

NoveList offers a quick way to find this.

In the Basic Search box on the homepage:

1. Type GN and the genre you want, such as science fiction, romance, or mysteries, e.g., GN science fiction. (You will need to capitalize GN, or you won’t get any results.)
2. Click Search.
3. In the Result List, click the Authors tab for a list of writers.

This will most likely result in a long list of authors, but you can narrow the list by using the Audience options on the right to limit by age level.
Or, you can narrow by the appeal factors, such as Storyline, Writing Style, Pace, and Tone listed on the left.

Once you limit the list, you can then sort by Popularity (instead of Relevance) to find the most popular authors in the group.
