New LexisNexis Academic Interface Available

Many of you are aware that LexisNexis has been working over the past year on a major overhaul of the LexisNexis Academic interface. We are pleased to announce that the new interface is available from LexisNexis and we will be switching from the current interface to the new interface on Tuesday, February 16, 2010.

Unlike the current interface, the new LexisNexis Academic offers users with a variety of “Easy Search” forms for the most popular resources and topics, including news, legal cases, country research, and company information. Other search forms are easily located on the right-hand navigation bar. All of these new features make LexisNexis Academic much easier to use and exposes users to the diverse and rich content found in this resource.

Training on the New Interface: Online training sessions have been scheduled for GALILEO libraries with a LexisNexis trainer who will explore best searching strategies for news, business, and legal content in the new search interface.
