National Book Month: Finding Reading Lists

October is National Book Month, an annual celebration of writers and readers. In honor of this celebration, we will offer tips each week this month on how to use GALILEO resources to find books and authors along with reviews and criticism.

This week, we’ll talk about how to find book lists and reviews in NoveList.

In NoveList, find genre reading lists on the left side of the screen. Choose your favorite genre to see a list of recommended reads. You can also find lists of award-winning books by clicking the Award Winners list on the far right and then choosing an award in your favorite genre.

In any list, note that you click the title of the book to see more information along with book reviews.

In the next three weeks, we’ll discuss how to find more books like a favorite book, how to find more authors like a favorite author, and how to find literary criticism.
