GALILEO Launches 30th Anniversary Student Art Contest

GALILEO, Georgia’s virtual library, will be turning 30 years old this year. We’ve been around for a long time!

We’re hoping Georgia’s students can help us celebrate our birthday with our very first art contest.

The winning student entry will be reproduced on GALILEO’s 30th anniversary materials, including clothing, stickers, bookmarks and more!

The winning piece will be seen by patrons in school, public and college libraries across the state. It might even land on our anniversary cake. Yum!

The art contest is open to all K-12 students in Georgia. The deadline to submit entries is May 1, 2025. All entries must be submitted online via the GALILEO art contest webpage.
