EBSCO Text-to-Speech Feature: Required IP Address and Domain Name Whitelist Changes

For those school systems and institutions that have filtering or security software, please advise your IT staff that they may need to update the whitelist for EBSCO resources. If you do not use whitelists in your network, there is no need to make any changes. Information from EBSCO is below.

EBSCO will make a change to the Text-to-Speech feature, which requires the addition of an IP address and domain name to the whitelist to allow full, unrestricted access. To ensure that users will not encounter an error message while using the Text-to-Speech tool after the end of this month, please add this information to your whitelist:

IP range: 79.136.80.0 - 79.136.80.255

Domain Names:
* app.rs.ebscohost com
* media.rs.ebscohost.com
* vttts.rs.ebscohost.com
* nvntts.rs.ebscohost.com
* ivotts.rs.ebscohost.com
