Celebrate National Library Week 2010 with GALILEO

National Library Week is an annual celebration of the contributions of our nation’s libraries and librarians. This year the theme is “Communities thrive @ your library.” And in that spirit, you will see messages this week not only about how GALILEO is Helping Libraries Thrive, but in support of ALA’s themes for the day.

Each day of National Library Week, we will share something to celebrate libraries or provide resources to support you in continuing to help your community thrive:

  • April 12 - GALILEO: Helping Libraries Thrive in Tough Times
  • April 13 - Celebrate National Library Workers Day with GALILEO
  • April 14 - Celebrating Bookmobiles in the Digital Library of Georgia
  • April 15 - Find the Top 10 Most Challenged Books of 2009 in GALILEO
  • April 16 - Support Children’s and Young Adult Literature with GALILEO
