GALILEO Conference Keynote Announced, Registration Open
Registration is now open for the 2026 GALILEO Annual Conference, which takes place April 13-14 in Macon, Ga. Registration is free and must be done by Sunday, April 5.

This year’s theme is “Intelligent Libraries.” Our keynote address will zero in on artificial intelligence and technological advances in libraries. Panelists include:
- David Joyner, online education and AI expert at Georgia Tech;
- Shruti Murali, conversational AI designer with Amazon;
- Adebimpe Odunjo, a Gwinnett County teacher with experience in AI and technology; and
- Daniel Zeiger, director of information technology for Georgia Public Library Service.
The discussion will be moderated by Chandler Christoffel, director of academic engagement at UGA Libraries.

Day 1 will consist of pre-conference workshop led by Russell Palmer on digging deeper into GALILEO.
Day 2 will be the traditional conference you are used to, with presentations on GALILEO best practices from librarians and vendors.
