Calling all GALILEO users!

The 2025 GALILEO Annual Conference will be in person, taking place June 3-4, 2025 in Macon, Ga. The theme of the conference is “Illuminating New Paths.”

We’re looking for presentations that highlight any aspect of GALILEO, especially those focused on “aha moments,” such as new ideas for learning, using GALILEO for career preparation, engaging new media specialists, and more.

The Call for Proposals is only for June 4, 2025!

We welcome presentations from all GALILEO audiences: K-12 schools, public libraries, and academic libraries, as well as those showing GALILEO’s intersection with the Digital Library of Georgia.

All GALILEO vendors and other partners may also submit proposals here.

(Please note GALILEO will be charging a nominal fee for this year’s conference. All presenters chosen will need to register.)

Guidelines:

– Each session time slot is approximately 45 minutes; presentations should be no longer than that. However, they may include various formats, including lightning talks and panel discussions.

– You will need to submit a proposed title, session summary, presenters, as well as intended audience (K-12, public library or academic).

The conference is being planned by GALILEO, the Digital Library of Georgia and the Georgia Public Library Service.
