2026 GALILEO Conference Dates & Call for Proposals
Calling all GALILEO users!
The 2026 GALILEO Annual Conference will take place April 13-14, 2026, at Middle Georgia State University. This is earlier than our usual conference, so be sure to mark your calendars for next year’s event in early spring.
The 2026 theme is “Intelligent Libraries: Transforming Access, Learning and Discovery.”
The event returns to a free format for regular attendees and speakers. Attendee registration is expected to open just after the new year.
Exhibitors will pay a nominal fee. Additional information has been sent to prior year exhibitors. Vendor registration will open soon.
Call for Proposals
We are now looking for session proposals centered on the 2026 theme.
We welcome proposals from all audiences: K-12, public library and academic libraries, as well as GALILEO partner companies and those showing GALILEO’s intersection with the Digital Library of Georgia.
Presentations may highlight any aspect of GALILEO, but priority will be given to those that also discuss technological innovation in libraries.
These could include AI, virtual or augmented reality, interactive engagement, digital literacy, and other tools used to evolve “access, learning and discovery” within libraries.
The deadline for proposals is January 30, 2026.
