Which GALILEO Institutions Support Single Sign On (SSO) Access via OpenAthens?

Answer

The following institution groups now use single sign on via OpenAthens with a few exceptions:

  • All Georgia Public Library Service (GPLS–all PINES and non-PINES libraries)
  • University System of Georgia institutions (USG)
  • Technical College System of Georgia institutions (TCSG)
  • AMPALS (Atlanta-Macon Private Academic Institutions)

  • GPALS (Georgia Private Academic institutions) Except:
  • Andrew College
  • John Marshall Law School
  • Beulah Heights University
  • Covenant College
  • Georgia Central University
  • Paine College
  • Underwood University
  • Pacific College of Technology

  • All K-12 and Private K-12 (GISA) schools continue to utilize the GALILEO password at this time.
