Question

Are my library’s locally purchased databases (GLRI) resources included in the GALILEO journals A-Z list?

Answer

Locally purchased databases (GLRI) are not included in GALILEO’s journals A-Z list by default. If your library is using Alma/Primo for your journal locator service, the designated contact at your library/campus is responsible for enabling your locally purchased resources in the Alma knowledge base.

If your library uses the EBSCO Full Text Finder for your journal locator service, you may have a contact at your library who manages the journal locator service via EBSCO’s Holdings Management (HLM). If your library does not manage HLM locally, GALILEO staff would be happy to work with you to make sure your locally purchased resources are enabled or provide training so you can manage locally.

Once your locally purchased resources are enabled in Alma or Full Text Finder, you will be able to access full text of these resources through “Journals A-Z” and “Find It” or Full Text Finder buttons in EDS.

If you have questions, please contact GALILEO using the contact us form.
