Bio

Sheila McAlister is the director of the Digital Library of Georgia, an initiative of GALILEO and the University System of Georgia. She has worked at the Digital Library of Georgia for the past 20 years, including positions as associate director, assistant director and project manager. She received her master’s degree in library and information science from University of South Carolina and a master’s degree from The Catholic University of America, where she studied medieval and byzantine studies.
