Bio

Ashley Rockwell (she/her) is the data literacy and learning specialist in the Research Data Services Department at Georgia State University Library. Ashley is leading the development, implementation, and assessment of the Get Data Ready! Initiative and the Public Interest Data Literacy (PIDLit) Learning Lab. Her work focus on building data literacy curriculum and programming for undergraduates. She believes expanding data literacy will not only make students more hirable, bettering their individual futures, but can empower students with the tools to understand social issues and implement social change.
