Shruti Murali

Bio

Shruti Murali is a product leader focused on mental health, AI, and education. With a background in child development psychology, she designs emotionally intelligent, conversational AI systems that support reflection, learning, and well-being. 

She has worked on large-scale conversational AI agents for organizations including Apple, Instacart, JPMorgan Chase, and Amazon, and was part of the founding teams of two AI startups. 

She is especially passionate about bringing liberal arts and social science voices into the AI ecosystem, and believes educators and librarians play a critical role in shaping ethical, human-centered technology. Her work emphasizes accessibility, information literacy, and AI as a complement—not a replacement—for human care and expertise.
